I heard that today, The New Family Farm is going to have some special guests...Welcome to the Fifth Graders of Ms. Eyermann's Class!
I'm so glad you guys came and looked at the website, thats awesome! I heard you were studying the Constitution, pretty cool!
So...A little about me: I am a horse-ridin', farm-lovin', outside playin', school-studyin' 8th grader in St. Joseph, Michigan (Make the Michigan with your hand facing you, thumb to your right, and point at the lower left site of your hand--thats St. Joe). I like helping the Earth and going green, so I got the crazy idea that chickens in the city would be cool and it kinda went from there! Sadly the 5 people in charge (the mayor, city manager, and commissioners) didn't like it SO they said go get signatures and we will pass the law so thats what I did! (the previous sentence is a very good example of a run-on sentence, my English teacher wouldn't like it)
The lesson to be learned here: Just because you are SMALL doesn't mean you can't do some thing BIG, and just because big people say you can't doesn't mean that your can't, it just means they arn't going to help you. BIG people just need some help from us LITTLE people because we can see what they can't without bending over and scrunching up their eyes: the green grass, hear the crickets sing in the summer, build a snowman in the winter. Sometimes, us little people have to act as little magnifying glasses and let them know something they don't see/don't think is a problem. Go change the world! What's stopping you!? If you come across a brick wall, don't stop...go get a shovel and dig under it! Because someday you people will be the president of the US, and its time to start practicing. :)
